Concept
In this project, a key issue was the extension of an existing office building to an adjacent plot with full operational connectivity. Therefore, our main intention was the morphological harmony of the buildings with the simultaneous separation of the two volumes in order not to confuse the two different phases. In order to make this possible we introduced a transition zone at the junction of the two buildings, which marks the central entrance of the complex while keeping at the same time the two volumes at a distance.

Πρόταση
Στον εν λόγω έργο, βασικό ζήτημα ήταν η επέκταση ενός υπάρχοντος κτιρίου γραφείων σε όμορο οικόπεδο με πλήρη λειτουργική σύνδεση. Ως εκ τούτου, βασική μας πρόθεση υπήρξε η μορφολογική μεν σύμπνοια των κτιρίων με ταυτόχρονο όμως τον διαχωρισμό των δυο όγκων προκειμένου να μην συγχέονται οι δύο διαφορετικές φάσεις. Προκειμένου να καταστεί αυτό εφικτό εισαγάγαμε μια ζώνη μετάβασης στην επαφή των δύο κτιρίων, η οποία σηματοδοτεί την κεντρική είσοδο του συγκροτήματος ενώ ταυτόχρονα κρατά σε απόσταση τους δύο όγκους.
